"What?! But Mum! I got grounded like a decade ago! And plus, in three days I might not be like this anymore, and that would be a cruel and unusual form of punishment to deprive me of this educational opportunity to learn first-hand the experiences of a teenager! You could be ruining my teenage years by taking that right from me!" he said dramatically.
Kira rolled her eyes and tightened her hold on the pillow. "Mum?...Can I hit him?..." she asked, sending her mother an angelic look and edging slowly toward her brother.
Brent, now having somewhat figured out how to deepen his voice to at least a non-comical level if not a semi-regular tone, added, "I would do it myself, but I'm still injured from my last father-son battle." He sent John a half-joking/half-serious look.

“No one is hitting anyone. And Noah, I don’t really care. You’ll just have to go into teenage years and adolescence blind like everyone else. And educational opportunity? Noah, really, come up with something better if you are going to try and come up with an excuse, but don’t try the educational bit on me. Now, everyone get a coat and we’ll head out and try and go see Chris and Gwen. Maybe he knows what’s going on.” Kat said walking over and grabbing Kira’s blue jacket. “By the way girls I have a few jackets in my closet that should fit you now…wow that is weird to say.” Kat said.
“Ok mom!” Becca said before skipping up the stairs and into her parent’s room to get a jacket.
John sighed, “I don’t need a jacket. I’ll be fine.” He said.

//I keep having to remind myself that the weather isn't like it is here...20 some degrees and blizzardy.//
Noah sighed. "Fine...but this better stay longer than three days," he muttered under his breath. He all ready had a jacket on. Walking over to the front door, he waited somewhat impatiently for everyone else to be ready.
Kira followed Becca up to their parents' room and picked out a light sweat jacket that matched her outfit (of course!).
Brent walked into Noah's room and found a jacket. Thankfully, Noah had some sense of style even as a seven year old, so he didn't look as dorky as he could have. Although the fact that he was now a kid again kind of took care of that...
Eventually, all of Danny's characters were ready by the door.

“Goodness I hope not…I hope we can get this reversed in 3 hours! I cannot very well reach and handle prophecies at this height! And I work for 5 days straight starting tomorrow!” Kat said frustrated as she crossed her arms and pouted a bit.
Becca took a little bit more time in picking out a jacket and finally decided on a brown suede double button one that had a belt and synched at the waist. It was form fitting and it matched her outfit, though it was more that fact that it fit her properly as to why she picked it, and then the fact that the brown matched her hair was why she had chosen that particular jacket. She skipped down the stairs, pushed past her brothers and was the first out the door, skipping in the cool brisk air.
John grabbed one of his father’s jackets from the hook by the door and shrugged it on. It was a little small in the shoulders and arms, but aside from that it was fine, and it would work. John then followed Becca out, hands in his pockets.
Kat grabbed her house keys and waited for Kira and Noah to exit, along with Brent so she could lock up.

Noah felt Becca brush by him and resisted the urge to pull her back so that he could be the first one out, just because. But no, that would be childish. And he was no longer a child...Although he still got grounded like one. Rolling his eyes, Noah walked out of the house.
Kira glanced at a mirror in the hallway one last time before exiting the house. She still couldn't recognize herself, but...frankly, she couldn't recognize anyone else, either. So she was OK.
Brent followed, fumbling for his key to lock the door before realizing that he didn't have it. He was about to go find it before he noticed Kat all ready having hers, so he simply walked out after his children.

John and Becca were already running down the driveway, pushing and teasing each other back and forth to see who could get through the gate first. With one good push, Becca was able to push John out of the way and flew through the gate. She turned around, stuck her tongue out at John, and giggled, “I WIN!” She said doing a small little and childish happy dance. John, realizing he was taller and stronger now just smirked as he picked Becca up and slung her over his shoulder, “I win…now! LET’S GO!” He yelled over Becca’s screams of protest.
Kat sighed and smiled as Brent looked for his keys, “Loose something?” She asked as she exited the house, quickly did a lock up and then put the keys in her jacket pocket before going beside Brent and linking arms with him. “Explain to me how we are suppose to control them now…because we barely controlled them when we were taller and stronger and older looking.” She said half joking, half-serious.

Kira ran ahead and jumped on John's unoccupied shoulder, unaware of the fact that she now weighed a bit more than the average seven-year-old. Meanwhile, Noah walked after them casually, smiling to himself as he looked around their street with new sights. Assuming that this switch lasted more than a few days, he had big plans for the next few weeks...
"Well...the girls are smart enough to realize that this isn't permanent, and that they would be grounded for eternity if they did something really stupid. The guys...them I'm still not sure about. Even if they know that this could change back any time, they still might ignore the consequences and go with their first instinct. So...unless you still have all the magic you normally do, I have no idea what to do with them," Brent said. It seemed as if he had actually thought about the situation. Yes, this is Brent Tripp we're talking about.

John sagged a little when Kira first launched herself but then stood up and was proud to say he could easily carry 230 lbs at the very least. “Thanks Kira…I had to be balanced and you did that for me. BUT! Because you want me to carry you, I’m just not going to.” John said before dropping Kira onto the grassy lawn of one of their neighbors.
Becca meanwhile was trying to beat John enough so that he let her go, but he was not budging. Finally, she bit him in the middle of the back and in the pain that followed, dropped her on the sidewalk. She was not hurt, but it felt damn good to have her feet on the ground again.
“Bloody hell woman! I think you broke the skin! What is wrong with you?” John asked rubbing his back and trying to crane his neck so that he could see the bite mark Becca left.
“You didn’t let me go, you deserve it!” Becca said sticking her tongue out again before running over behind Kat and Brent so they were her protection. Even John was not stupid enough to make the parents mad.
Kat laughed, “True. Nevertheless, while Noah is going to milk this for all it is worth…I think John will probably just be looking towards the girls. He likes them now so he will probably be looking for someone to kiss or something. But Noah’s grounded indefinitely so far, so as long as that sticks we should be able to handle them.” Kat said with a small sigh, hoping this would be easy but knowing it would not.

Kira let out a little yelp as she fell to the ground, and quickly jumped back up, brushing herself off. As she caught up with John, she laughed and said, "Well, she wanted to get down and you wouldn't let her. It could have been worse...at least you didn't call her a constipated donkey again."
Noah watched his siblings argue and smirked at Kira's remark. Those six-year-old days seemed like they were only a few weeks ago...oh wait. Right. They were.
"So you honestly think Noah is going to listen to the fact that he's grounded?" Brent asked seriously. He highly doubted that his son would still observe those rules when he was stronger, bigger, and more powerful than his parents.

“Unlike certain brothers I do not make the same mistake twice!” John said with a smirk as he shot a glace at Noah, “I LEARN from MY mistakes and I do no repeat them all the time. Of course…Noah really is a bit slow so it does take him a few times to learn.” John added with a small nod and a chuckle.
“If he doesn’t want his arse beat later he will…I’ll give John, Kira and Becca permission to punish him if he doesn’t listen…they’ll be able to perform magic just like him so it would not hurt…besides 3 on 1.” Kat said with a shrug of her shoulders. Being smaller she did not need to deal with Noah’s back sass.

"True, but I picture Noah as the kind of teenager that would go out and party on a spur of the moment gut instinct and take the wrath later...and then do it again. He's just that kind of person...So yeah, he'll get punished for it eventually, but that won't stop him," Brent said, sounding like he had a lot of experience in teenage boys that didn't think about consequences *cough*Jake*cough*.
Noah waved his hand as if dismissing John's accusations, and accidentally sent a strong blast of wind at his siblings. And for once, it really was accidental; but that didn't stop him from laughing as Kira was thrown half a foot off the ground to land in the grass.
Second time in five minutes I'm on the ground, Kira thought, annoyed. She stood up, glaring daggers at Noah. "Don't make me hurt you," she hissed, raising her eyebrow warningly.
