“If only Lacy could get a job here and if only the bloody kitchen was fire proof.” A woman grumbled as she made her way through the line grabbing anything that peaked her interest for lunch. She was very upset as her house elf was not the one cooking her meals and was instead at her house cleaning and fixing the kitchen after this morning’s fire. Elizabeth had been extremely frustrated and after a night of little sleep she was very jumpy and her cat Nesera had scared her and the result had been her burning the kitchen. Luckily, Nesera had been spelled a long time ago with a freeze flame charm so she had not been harmed…but the kitchen was in serious need of repair and while Lacy could fix it….it would take the entire day…, which is why Elizabeth Malfoy was forced to take lunch here at G.R.I.M. headquarters. That…and the fact that she wanted to scope out Fiona and Noah and see how far their powers had progressed since they had been on their own. She had never personally met either one but knew it would not be difficult for either of them to feel her presence…and add the flaming tattoo in the middle of her lower back and it was obvious whom she was. With a black tank crop shirt, jeans, black flip-flops and her silver blonde hair down in waves, Elizabeth sat down at perfect attention as she began her meal. Rib eye steak as rare as she could find and other assorted sides. Her silver grey eyes scanned the room discreetly, though it looked as if she was looking at her food or the trash magazine in front of her…

"What are you in for?" The comment was casually thrown out in the middle of the silence. Three children, ages 10-14, were sitting at a lunch table. Two boys on one side, one girl at the other. Fiona Stone and Noah Bismuth (He had named himself after a look in a science book) sat with a new boy at G.R.I.M. He was shakey and timid, with wild brown hair and wary eyes who had seen a bit too much. "We aren't 'in' for anything," Fiona informed him in her cold, educated voice. "We are here because our mother died twice and then left us to an idiot son of Gilderoy Lockhart. We ran away, moved here, and there's an elemental near looking for us." She turned to Noah, who was making his milk do little circles and ribbons of white in the air. "Don't worry about it," he assured her, not taking the time to sound warm and fuzzy. There wasn't a lot of warm-and-fuzzy nowadays, and Fi liked it that way. Bullshit was Warm and Fuzzy. She, however, was not. Though she did use the crap for fertilizer when she had a garden. She wished this place had a garden, but alas, they did not. She had to settle for a rock garden in a drawer in her bedside table. "I'm not stupid, No." Fi's stony eyes narrowed and she looked at Twitchy, who was looking around looking for the other elemental. "What's an elemental, dudes?!?" He sounded desperate. He didn't care much about Noah's game. The kid was magical and had seen things like that. (In other words, he knew someone could move water like that with a wand) "Someone who can do this," Fiona smiled as the stick she had been playing with threw itself at Twitchy's hair and wrapped itself inside. Twitchy freaked out and began to scream. He ran to the door and kept on screaming. Noah's eyes narrowed as the milk ribbon shot at Fiona. "Damn it, Noah," Fiona wiped the milk from her face and looked around. "There she is," Fiona whispered as she ducked below the tables. Noah looked around and then joined her under the table. Fiona was a bit pissed because she was wearing a long, embroderd skirt that reached the floor. She had grown about a foot since her mother died again and so they had addded another layer of ruffles on the skirt to lenghten it.

Elizabeth let a small smirk grace her pale pink lips as she saw the two duck under the table. Afraid, or not wanting to be found…they had to realize that she would be able to sense them wherever they were in this building. Especially when they so blatantly flaunted their powers in such extremes. Elizabeth was a bit more discrete as she touched her hand to her coffee and heated it back up to the perfect temperature lifting it and taking a sip, her eyes still looking at the magazine as she turned the page with her free hand and then went back to eating. After a few minutes, she closed her eyes, cracked her neck, and arched her back to crack that. Most of the food had been cleared from her plate and she sighed standing up, and dumped her tray in the trash and went back to grab the cup of hot coffee that sat there waiting for her. She realized that they wouldn’t come out unless she made the first move and grabbed her drink and walked over, squatting down so she could see under the table. “So…are you waiting to scream surprise or are you simply fond of the undersides of tables. Or do you simply believe it’s difficult for me to figure out that you are hiding from me?” She asked calmly with a small smile.

Fiona looked at Elizabeth as Noah sat, dumbfounded (He just wasn't as bright as his sister at this time of the day, he was best at night). "Naw," Fiona crawled out and looked under the table again. "We were looking for gum. It's hard to come by in this joint." Noah snapped out of his daze and crawled up himself, slapping the thin layer of dust that had resided on the floor off his clothes. He was only wearing a modest pair of pants and a button up shirt. There was an undershirt underneath. "What are you doing here, Charlie McGee?" Noah asked, referencing something only few who had read Stephen King's 'Firestarter' would understand.

“Not really…and you can leave when ever you please and there is a muggle convenience store not far from here…but good lie for those who don’t know the lay of the land and the muggle and magical things surrounding it.” Elizabeth said with a smirk as she stepped back to allow them to exit from under the table. “So you two are the ones that Arkarian and Daisy were arguing about…why I can not fathom as you seem to be doing fine on your own, but I know it will give at least the air head rich guy a bit of peace of mind…and I have a feeling Daisy already knows how you are doing as she normally keeps pretty up to date on things.” Elizabeth said with a shrug. “Well…not that that is done I’ll let you get back to your gum looking. You both seem to have pretty good control of your powers so it seems as if I was correct….aside from the fact that Fiona’s power is bound at only 1/12 of what it is suppose to be…” She added with another nonchalant shrug.

Fiona's ears perked up at the mention of her powers, but Noah kept cool. He knew this trick and had seen it pulled on his sister before. He tugged on her once, on the arm, as if to remind her to keep her hopes down. "Nice try, lady. But Fiona was being sarcastic. If you had an IQ bigger than 1/12th of a normal person's, you'd know that and not try to play mind games with her. She's smarter than that. I'm smarter than that. Now, get to your point and we may just listen to you. Unless, of course, you want us to go outside where no one can hear you." He looked at Fiona hard before saying, "And we can't get gum anyways. We are two kids with no parents, no money, and no jobs. We sort-of cannot afford gum or anything else at this moment, thank you."

Elizabeth smirked, “If you really WERE as bright as you claim to be you would be able to feel the power I wield that neither of you could possibly begin to even imagine…you also would be able to tell that I can sense your powers and the strengths that they wield, and that someone bound your sisters powers because they are too strong for her to control on her own and while her elemental abilities are average now…they were not destined to be normal. You little water boy have no idea what you are talking about and by opening your mouth not only are you sounding like an idiot you are also making yourself seem more inferior by talking for your sister and not letting her think for herself. Do you REALLY think I plan on tricking either of you? I have a dream-walking nephew to deal with. I was simply letting you know the basis of the conversation that concerned you between me, Arkarian and Daisy because I felt that you had the right to know. I have no loyalties to them, or to G.R.I.M. or to anyone but myself but realized I would want to know this information. As fellow elementals, you do deserve a bit of my attention as well as the other elemental Tripp. I am neither “good” nor “bad” of what most people classify as, but simply happy to be content in myself and messing with the minds of little reapers who are easy to read. But, if you do not want the information I have I’ll leave and never look back…but little water nymph…why don’t you let your sister talk for herself…as one day no matter how much she is bound her powers will surpass you and land you on your ass if you try to mess with her.” Elizabeth said calmly, her arms crossed in a casual way, her silver grey eyes pools of boredom. She closed her eyes for a second and rolled her neck, cracking it again effortlessly before looking back at the two small children in front of her.

"I've been downgraded from an elemental to a nymph now, eh?" Noah raised an eyebrow and pulled Fiona back. She stood her ground but Noah was stronger, pulling her was simple. "I don't know if you've heard, but I stand for my sister in values that are of importance to G.R.I.M and of the supernatural." Fiona stepped forward again, but Noah tugged on her arm one more time. A signal to wait a few more sentences before she could go. Noah continued, "And, McGee, I sense your power easy enough. You could probably burst my head open in a firy volcano of lava, but I do not care at this point and will not care when it comes to protecting Fiona Stones. She can crack the world open if she wishes, but I trust her and I hope to whatever's out there that that's enough until she gets strong enough to break the barriers. Until then, buzz off." Noah turned around and Fiona jabbed him with a huge rock, the force of which knocking him down and skidding across the floor past Elizabeth. Fiona's eyes glowed for a moment before she stepped forward towards Elizabeth and spoke, "You were saying?"

Elizabeth smirked, exactly what she had done when Josh tried to be the over protective brother…except she had set his pants on fire. “First of all…your brother really is nieve and if I had not been in as good a mood as I am…you probably wouldn’t have a brother right now…so when he gets up and is capable of human interaction…I’d warn him as I do spend a lot of time in and out of this place. Secondly, your mother bound your powers because as an infant they were to strong for you to control and right now they probably are too…the problem is that they have been building up and being restrained…which is why you will and do probably get these random power bursts…and yours powers will need to be un-bound before they kill you…” Elizabeth said with a shrug. “It is up to you and I really don’t feel like having to deal with a boy like your brother who wants nothing to do with me…but I will work with him if you insist…I simply do not want an elemental dying with so much built up power as it will create a power release that right now could take out the states of New York and Ohio.” Elizabeth said looking at her.

"He's not naive, just a child. You cannot expect more." Fi said, not looking at Noah, but looking through him and glaring at his core. "Now, what are we talking about here." She considered being able to crack the earth and make it swallow the Lady of Liberty. It made her smile. She let herself indulge in a smile. This was rare for her, but she kept smiling until Noah came to. Noah looked at her as if she was insane. "You told her she could take over the world, didn't you, Charlie?" He rubbed his head as he called her Charlie. She snapped out of it and moved to rock to hit him again. He collasped on the floor and she felt bad, remembering how he said he trusted her. That trust was gone now, of course.

“For the boy who believes he can protect and take care of you, yes I actually did expect a bit more.” Elizabeth said casually, “But that does not matter. I am simply informing you of the information I received from the man who claims to be your guardian and a concerned reaper gave me and informing you of some of the information I have. Your power is building inside of you and your small body is not capable of the power that you hold and unless the power that has been building in your body is released soon…your brain will implode and you will die.” She said with a casual shrug, “So…now that I’ve done that, I can go finish training my nephew so my brother stops annoying me.” She said with a sickeningly sweet smile.

"My brain will implode, eh?" Fiona stopped smiling all together and put her left hand on her ear, mildly concerned. She felt like she should be worried more. "Wait a second," she raised an eyebrow, her eight one this time, and looked at Charlie (Since she had not introduced herself, Fiona had to call her something). "So you'll train some brat who, since you have not said he does, have any elemental powers. But not a midget elemental who's brain is going to implode? Wow. Your values system is sound, isn't it?" Fiona looked back at still-unconscious Noah and thought of the fight they would have later over this. It would not be verbal. But it would be just as fun as calling him a two faced shit head. She came out of her head and felt suddenly jealous over the nephew. He had that stupid walking in dreams shit going on but he was placed as top priority. "Was that an offer you placed for us two a few minutes ago? I'm not going anywhere with Noah, just so you know. But he'll just need to be wrapped in vines for a few hours so he can calm down. Or, if you wish for him not to be so unhappy, it would be convenient if you had a pool. He hasn't seen large bodies of water since we passed some huge-ass water fountain the day before we got here."

“Actually, my values system seems to be in order. I will put family before anyone else, because no matter how much I despise my brother, he is better then my sister and his son is very easily swayed into my way of thinking. Now, the offer was to let your power loose so you don’t die as there really are only a few people ever born with the powers. I’m also willing to help you control them if you don’t feel like you will be able to control them when they are let loose but your brother seems to despise me and I don’t feel like dealing with him. Yes I do have a pool at my manor, I have all 4 of the elements present as I feel more at home there. So if for some reason you or he insists on coming with you to training he will have to deal with me on a daily basis. Now I doubt the reason he hates me is because I’m Elizabeth Malfoy…but if it really is the name thing…I really don’t feel like dealing with him.” Elizabeth said calmly looking at her.

"Wow, didn't catch the whole 'Family' part. I thought by 'Nephew, you meant an 'Uncle's son. . ... " She hadn't been around much family. Her own had come to believe she had died along with her mother and brother. Their father was dead as well, never really being alive in the first place, and their grandparents could not, would not, take them. They were dead to the world and their mother had liked it that way. Too bad she was gone. Amanda could've helped Fiona without disliking Noah to a certain degree. But she was stuck with this 'Elizabeth Malfoy'. "What's a Malfoy?" She asked even though she was not normally the type who would've asked. It made her sound childish. "And, McGee, he hates you because he has a minor complex in which I am his protectee'. Without me, he is a vulnerable child who has no family. It's natural in two child families for one to be the 'supportive' one. I would think you'd know the type. But I do want to be trained by someone, I'll admit that. But I'd also, sort of , like to meet the Dream Walker. Noah and I like 80's horror films, so we watched Freddy Krueger."

“No, my nephew as in I’m his Aunt, and his father is my brother…sadly one can not pick family or trust me I would have chosen a different one.” Elizabeth said calmly. One like Liv and Louis Riddles, and where Josh would still be alive and I would not be stuck with only Rose and Colby as family members and a bratty nephew who I don’t know if he is grateful or not. While these malicious thoughts ran through her head though, she kept a smile on her face and in her eyes, never betraying the emotions that swam through her mind.
“A Malfoy is a family, though I’m not surprised Arkarian did not inform you of us as his own family has their own problems. I’m the eldest Malfoy and my name is Elizabeth and I would prefer if you call me Elizabeth instead of referencing that book by calling me McGee.” Elizabeth spoke, her voice steady and just a hint of happiness was in it, so as hopefully not to scare Fiona and make her a bit more comfortable around Elizabeth.
“I do understand how it is when an older brother likes to become the protector of the younger sister…you love him deeply and he you…and yet there are times where you want to shove him away. My advice to you is to never do that.” She said calmly, speaking from her own experiences with her older brother and the loss of him at a young age…though, it was by his hand Elizabeth still felt responsible. “And it would be up to Cole on whether or not he wishes to meet either of you, though I will ask him when I see him next.” She said, “And I will train you and your brother if you would like also.”

She bit her lower lip, contemplating the recent events. "Fine. But do not expect Noah to call you anything but Charlie McGee. Like said before, we love old horror flicks and it's just too rich for you to be here. A fire elemental is basically the closest thing to a Fire starter you can get. Feel grateful you don't look like Drew Barrymore or you'd be goggled by him in about three point five seconds. He's in love with Drew Barrymore." Noah lifted his head, "I am not!" "It's easier when you don't talk, No." Fiona hit him slightly less harder with the rock this time. He ducked and avoided it, but went to sleep anyways. "But I suppose we can accept that little offer. The one about the training, that is. We need it anyways. No one here is competent and though we've heard there's another elemental who lives in London, apparently he doesn't give a flying rat's ass about us. Why would he anyways? I personally don't see why you would care about two kid elementals. Me? Of course not. I wouldn't bother with a kid even if their head was going to implode. I'd revel in the destruction that would ensue after wards and I would then begin to try to take over the world. But, then again, I've always been the ruling type." She used brute honesty to disarm. It was her defense mechanism and her plaything. Noah knew this and would've told Elizabeth had it not been for the minor 'I'm just going to sleep and not get hit again' thing.

Elizabeth gave Noah a strange look but shook her head, “Thank god for Malfoy family genes.” She muttered, glad she did not have the red hair or spunky personality of the ditzy American muggle actor. “As for helping you? Little Jake Tripp is not uncaring; he simply does not harness his power the way he should. He is more interested in Quidditch then he is in being an elemental. Why bother? Because elementals are a rarity, even among wizards and witches and even rarer in muggles, and personally I hate to see power go to waste. Also, if you happened to die your brother would probably go insane and I REALLY don’t feel like having to deal with an insane water elemental on the loose, because they’d probably pick me to either go kill him or rein him in and I rather train you two so I don’t ever have to worry about dealing with you later. Moreover, I also had very little control of my powers, as they were also bound, and it wasn’t until I went off on my own after my eldest brother died that I met my mentor who did the same thing I’m doing to you. It is sort of a pay back and thank you to her. Someone does you a favor; you do a favor to someone else, though it is mostly because I do not feel like dealing with either of you in the future. You aren’t the only one who is more the ruling type Fiona…except there are many more people who actually have the power to back it up.” She said the last part while stretching and cracking her fingers in the process.
