I need help with convencing my parents on something. What? you might ask because you a concerned friend. Well, I'll tell you. Because I'm such a sweet, kind person, I want to help out others, a horse to be spesific. On the bus ride home, we go through the trailer park, and there is a horse in one of the yard. This horse probably has all of the room that my playroom has. In case you have no idea why that is bad, horses need room to strech there legs and run, eat, ect. or they can get seriously injured or go lame, and because this person lives in a trailer, and has a bunch of like 4 year olds, they don't have the money to pay for the vet to mend a broken leg, and would have to put the horse down. That means: Death. I was sooo concerned, I asked my parents if we could help out. My mom is against it for reasons like, 'we don't know the owner's story' or 'the horse could be mean and hurt our horses or vis versa' I see those, but I still think we have to try. The other issue is that we would probably have to lower the boarding cost for our land a lot! So, I need help convincing my parents. I think my dad is for it because he saw the horse. It's a very pretty horse. Around 15 hh, and is obviously sweet or somewhat sweet because it lives with a couple of little kids. HELP!

TELL YOUR MOM TO GET A HEART. I can't stand it when horses die because an owner is too cheap or just too lazy to go get it's leg mended.

But sometimes they can't. Just an x-ray to see where they horse's leg is broken, or hurt is around $400. *speaks from experience* And that was a cheap, little protable x-ray machine that they took out into our pasture. She didn't even have a broken leg! She just strained a muscle. My parents were furious.
