A young girl was standing in front of a mirror, holding up clothes in front of her. She was carring eight different outfits and seemed pleased with the outfits. None of them were something that twemty six year old Mildred Lass would've worn. But that was the point. Among the outfits were ones with big hoods to cover her head, colored contacts to avoid being spotted by one of most unique feautres (Violet eyes from reaper-dom), long gloves in 18 shades (To hide her finger prints) and at least fivty pairs of shoes. She was totingthem all in a huge cart that she had brought for this purpose. Muggle London was given a pictures of her and told to look up and down, but other than that, Mil didn't worry very much. It was the Wizarding community she worried about. They could track her down just by asking the right people. Robb had talked with his godson, Arkarian Goodwill. And her name, picture, and place of residence was now in the hands of the owner of the world's largest Wizarding Newspaper. So she was leaving tonight. She was buying new clothes and hiding out in Texas until she could finally confess. She wouldn't do that, however, until she was sure that James would not be involved. She knew that it was hard enough for him to know she did it, nevertheless arrest her for it. So she'd let someone else do it and James would be able to sleep easy knowing that she wasn't there of his own accord. She was now chatting on her cell phone. "Don't Robb. I know, Robb. Don't get all pissy!" She was in a five way call with a few of her most important people in her life: Daisy, Robb, Fate, Destiny, and Diane. "Diane, I understand you are pissed. Yes, I know that I'm the first reaper to get caught in the act. Fate, Dessi, shut the Hell up before UI hang up!"

Shopping. Most girls adored the pass time, but Julia hated it. She hated the female workers to say that wasn't her colour or that an outfit didn't match her eyes when she stepped out of the dressing room. So, why on earth even go shopping? Well, always looking at the outfits were fun. She just couldn't try on anything. Nothing was "her colour" apparently. And today, Julia was out in Muggle London, only window shopping. She had no money with her. Right now, she was in the London Botique, looking at outfit after outfit. Nope. Nothing was her colour. Well, now she could just drop in on other people's conversations. It was a fun hobby she usually ended up doing instead of actually shopping. She heard a voice, and decided to follow it, but by playing spy. She couldn't be seen. Reaper? She didn't know Reapers could be Muggles...Wait, they couldn't. Well, she'd just have to stay quiet and wait to hear what happens next.

"Robb, don't taunt me, okay? I know I'm screwed .Leave me alone damnit!" Millie whispered into the phone. "I'm leaving tonight, Robb. And I'm not telling you where I am going because you'll tell your damned godson all about it. Yeah, I said it. You ratted me out to the owner of the friggin Daily Prophet! You've never acted so damned low, Rubgushand." She placed the outfits on the cart. "Fatum? Sweetheart? Can I have some cash please? Yes, I know Destiny's in charge of that. But she can't access my book as easily as you can. Please Fae? I know that's what Rosalie called you. Yes, I know that Rosa died three years ago and that you felt horrible and now you are depressed! Diane, stop yappping at Robb about me. I can beat him any time he wants." She put the other set of clothes on the rack and got a defiant look in her eye. "Oh really? Well, I'll meet you any time anywhere, old man." She hissed. Millie grabbed her purse and grabbed out a billfold. She seemed pleased to see at least ten thousand pounds crammed in between the purse and the billfold. She would convert it to American Dollars as soon as she got there, she thought.

Daily Prophet? This person was definitely not a Muggle...That was for sure. Ratted her out to the Daily Prophet? Well, now she wished she actually read the Daily Prophet. This girl was probably in the bad news section...Where no one wanted their name to be found. A criminal. But who was she and what did she do? Well, she was a reaper, so that obviously said something. Reaping was probably illegal, and she had ben caught...reaping. She was running away. To America, probably. Get a clean start as far away as possible. Well, it wasn't like she Julia was going to stop her...Not her business. She sighed, stepping out of the aisle. Shoes. Those weren't her colour, either. She felt her arm dig into her deep jeans pocket. Good. At least her wand was still there. "Reaper," she heard herself think aloud.

Mildred Lass ('Janice Delacray') turned her head sharply the second she heard 'Reaper'. She spoke into the phone "I've gotta go. Love you, Dais. Sorry Fate. Destiny, stop crying! You can come to visit, but not now. Robb, stop snickering like a little child. You are over a thousand years old, don't play me like that. Diane. . . Damn it, Diane hung up." Millie hung up and stepped closer to Julia. She took a deep sigh and asked "Okay, what did you hear and how much should I pay you to keep your muggle mouth shut?"

"Well, you are the first Reaper to be caught in the act," she began, a smirk on her lips. "And everything after that, I would suppose. And I'm not a Muggle, just so you know," she added. She turned around to face the girl. "And I don't want any money. It's not like I'm going to tell anyone...Just tell me, who was it? Who caught you reaping who?"

"If you must know." Millie stepped closer and began to whisper. "Wait a second. I'll let this paper say it all since you've seen my face." She pulled a slip of paper from her pocket. It was the snipped out wanter article for her.

"Do you carry this everywhere?" she asked, quickly reading over the wanted ad. "Or did you happen to have it in your pocket today?" She looked in Mil's basket. "Are you getting all that? Hiding from the police sure can be...interesting, can't it?"

"I kind-of killed the Minister yesterday. so it hasn't been that long. " Mil breathed this out. "And no. My boyfriend is an auror and the Scotland Yard is printing posters, so it hasn't been exactly the best experence." She let it out with a sigh. She quickly cast a short deaf-ness spell for the muggles. "And I need all this stuff. I can't go back to my house."

"You killed the Minister? That's...just...great," she laughed softly. She'd never seen anyone with that kind of nerve. "Why on earth would you date an Auror? Is your house under surveillance, or something?"

"My old boss, Robb, hates me. I stole his 'life' so he's trying to steal mine by getting me arrested. He told his Godson, who was in Azkaban but was bailed out by Robb, about where I lived. My real name, where I hung out, and he told him that I was a professional assassin who has killed about eight hundred people in ten years." She sighed and sat on a nearby bench for the men shoppers. "Because. That's it. Just because. He's wonderufl and proud and loyal to his job. Which is why I even considered dating him." She considered contrasting James and herself. How they ere both doing their jobs. Millie's was killing. James' was saving. How ironic was that?

Oh, wow. Irony. "Eight hundered people. Wow. That's...a lot more people than I've killed...A hell of a lot," she said. "More than I'll ever kill, also. I only kill if it's the only way to go." Well, there had been only one way to go when she killed her grandfather...It's not like anyone liked the old man. "Well, it seems like you're in love with the man, from what I hear," she smiled. She remembered the first time she realized she was in love.

"That's just the thing! I didn't kill anyone except the highest authority in the entire Wizarding World!" Come to think of it, it didn't sound very nice when you said aloud. "I reaped the others!" She promised. "I don't worry as much about going to Azkaban as I do about my job." Mildred Lass mused. "I'm the head of my sector. Without me, Daisy Adair will take over. That wouldn't be a problem if she wasn't so lazy and busy all the time. She's an actress, you see."

"Why the hell would an actress be good for anything but looking pretty on screen?" Julia asked. "And you only killed the highest authority? I mean, kudos to you and everything, but that sounds so...illegal."

"Excuse you?" Millie's ears perked up and she glared at Julia. "I believe you owe a lot to this useless actress. Did you know that, thanks to her, about a thousand Americans were reaped painlessly? That she donates more than half of her profits to various Undead and Dead charities? That she works with the Prophet to help children. . ."She dropped it off. "Oh shit." She finally realised something and texted Daisy. They aren't talking about me up there, are they? She sent it quickly, but knew Daisy was out in the Americas. "I didn't mean to! I touched him to reap him, he tripped and fell in front of a train!"

Julia shrugged. "Well, it's not like I knew that," she said, rolling her eyes. She looked around the store with her eyes. Nothing worth buying, which was good. No money...

"Umm. Hello?" Millie waved her hand in front of Julia's eyes. "Umm. . . I hate to ask this of you, but can you magically pack all my stuff?"

"Uh, sure," Julia said, snapping back into reality. She quickly pulled out her wand, and threw all the things into a large suitcase. "It's not neat, but it's there," she said, placing her wand back into her front pocket.

Millie thanked her and ran to pay for it all. She returned and thanked Julia. "Now, you won't tell anyone I was here, right?" Mil was acting strange for Mil. More frantic than calm and collected.

"Right," Julia replied with a bored tone. She knew this girl had killed the Minister and all, but why so worried? "I won't tell anyone."

"Thank you. I'll send you a card from America. I think I'll be living in Texas. Or L.A with my good friend, Daisy." She blew a small kiss and ran into a dressing room. If someone looked twords the air vents, they'd have seen a big mass of black, but silverish dust flying twords it and being sucked in.
