Simply looking at random things in a store seemed to be able to occupy Caitlyn for quite some time. Even now, she was browsering the racks of extremely overpriced clothes in a boutique. Though, she didn't plan on buying anything, mostly because she didn't have enough money on her at the moment to purchace any of the highly-priced things. Heck, she barely had over twenty dollars.
After rummaging around a bit, she found that the items were overpriced from a reason. They were all luxurious, and a bit formal. Most of them were greatly decorated in a complicated design, too. A couple of dresses caught her eye. Taking a glimpse of the pricetag, she shrugged, but took one off of the rack anyways. It wouldn't hurt to at least try it on, right? Plus, she could hide it somewhere in the store until she came back with enough money to buy it. No, shoplifting was not an option...
She examined it for a moment and then went into a dressing room to try it on. It was a short halter dress that fell down just after her knees. Most of it was black, but it was rimmed in white on some edges. It was quite stunning, actually, and seemed to fit her nicely. After looking at herself wearing it, there wasn't much to do after that. She then walked, or rather strutted, out, on her way to look at a few more things and let her jaw drop at the prices.

"Well, I don't know," a quiet but strong voice said. "It just isn't me," Jasmine told the saleslady. The woman had said the Amish dress was "so her" but Jasmine knew better. She had worn less when she was a teenager with low self esteem. "What about something shorter?" she asked. "Like a minidress, or something. This isn't the 1700s anymore," she said harshly, running back into the dressing room to try on another dress. Nothing this botique sold fit her style. But, that could change. She picked up her wand, which she carried everywhere - even Muggle London - and zapped the ugly Amish dress to something that looked like it was actually from this century. Not her best work, but she wasn't done yet. Jasmine put on her own clothes, leaving the dressing room with a higher self esteem now that that ugly Amish dress was something worth value. Too bad she couldn't afford it at this second. But, she could find a place to hide it...
