She shouldn't be here. There was no way she could be here. Then why would she be here? The answer? Reaping and helping your 'best' friend only gets you so far. Eventually, you get bored and sick and tired of being alone on all of those late nights. Daisy Browning Adair could only go so long without having a date. So she had answered the ad. Three days ago exactly, she had noticed an ad in the paper advertising blind dates. She had called in and gave them all the basic info. She was smart, pretty, forever young, violet eyed, and a famous actress in the States. They had jumped on her like she was meat. She had had two dates in the past three days. Having a one-night stand with one of them and completely ditching the other after he entertained her with his stories of his many, many, many cats and each one was named after a character from an HBO or Showtime TV series. One of them, strangely, being named Daisy. But she hoped this would be better. She sat with her evening wear. A black dress that revealed a little bit too much cleavage and she carried one red rose. She had gotten this amazing perfume earlier that had come in a bottle as purple as her eyes. So she was wearing it. She was also wearing a mystic fire earring and necklace set that had been swiped from a reap about a year ago and she had enjoyed wearing it. Now, she waited.

Random was personally going to skin Alex later if this woman turned out to be a nutcase. He had enough of that the previous night. He thought he was going to seriously crawl out the window of the boy's bathroom at the restaurant. However, being the gentleman that he was, he couldn't bring himself to it and stayed with the extreme nutcase until 3 A.M when he kicked her out of his bedroom where she was determined to....Yeah. That wouldn't happen. Ever.
He breathed deep as he prepared himself for he massive amounts of nuttiness he was liable to encounter today. He smoothed down his jet back hair, made sure his black tux/suit was still in good condition, rearranged his red tie, and made sure his subtle citrus colagne was still subtle before finally letting the waiter lead him to the table. He looked very carefully at his date, though not oogling. "My name is Random Lupin. Pleasure to meet you.." He said quietly, trying to smile his smile a little bit.

He upper lip twitched slightly and she felt a bit nausious. Not because of him, of course. The waiter had just passed by the carring a bit plate of lobster and it smelled horrible. "My name is Daisy Adair." Daisy was glad he didn't try to shake her hand or anything. The others, at least the one with the cats, had shook her hand several times. She waited for him to get fully seated before she started conversation. It was common curtisy to do so.

"Daisy is a very nice name," Random said, sitting himself down easily in the chair. He was sore, seeing as he had just gotten off of work. He fiddled a bit with his sleeve, which didn't want to lay straight. He tried to think of something to say, but everything he could think to say was awkward. He finally thought of something to say that didn't seem empty or fake, seeing as he did think it. "You eyes are quite beautiful, if you don't mind me saying."

Her pupils dilated for a bit before she finally situated herself. Her last relationship, a real one that is, ended with him complementing her eyes. That relationship wasn't romantic, of course. And it was far from being truly over. But the last thing he had said to her as a friend had been an eye compliment and for all Daisy knew, it may have been a mock coming from him. He knew what she was and didn't care because he was her mentor of sorts. She missed Robb sometimes. Missed how he was the morbid father of Daisy and Millie. But he was now, insert Darth Vader voice, 'on the dark side'. A.K.A on the side of Diane. Though Daisy was a reaper, she did not exactly enjoy Diane's company. Fate and Destiny were OK. But she wouldn't want to be stuck in an elevator with Death herself. "Random Lupin, eh? Umm, pardon me for asking, but were your parents extremely strange?" she raised a perfectly plucked blond eyebrow and held in a chuckle. "And, thank you about the name compliment. It's not very common for women my age to have a flower name. It was always considered too old fashioned. But, Random . . .Never heard that one before."

Random instantly regretted the eye compliment when she narrowed her eyes at him. Obviously, it was not a good thing to say to her. He tried to keep his face calm. This one might be crazier than the one from the previous night. That was something he definitely could not handle.
Random stifled a chuckle. He should have known that one was coming. His parent's were crazy....Or maybe it was just revenger for their own names. "Well....My sister and I both sport odd names. Random and Imaginary. I actually think it was revenge for my parent's own names. Remus and Nymphandora. Random is a lot better than Nymphandora, to me. And yes, it is rather uncommon for flower names, but I find them charming."

She lowered perfectly plucked eyebrow. "Did your parents hate you or something? Inner spite," she said this while wiggling her head a bit. "Sounds like it. But I suppose they may have just thought they were creative, which they are, very much so. I like Imaginary. If I had a child, I would make it their first name and their middle name be Friend. It would be funny because I would scream 'Imaginary Friend Adair! Get in here right now!' People may think I was talking to myself, though," she mused. "So what do you do for work? I'm a busy business woman. I temp at places and then I act at night. That was when I lived in New York. I actually starred in 'RENT' but had to drop the role because a close friend got in law troubles. I played Maureen. I had to kiss a girl every night. But I got paid five thousand dollars a week. It was very much worth it. Thank you about my name, though. Again. I miss my job, but this girl has been like a mother to me. She created me, in a way. My father, not exactly my father, but you understand what I mean, may come up to visit because of her. We are like one big sick-o family."

"It is more of a tradition, I guess. My sister has four kids with names that could possibly be worse than our own. Saorise Maximum Bohemia , Demolition Verdict , Actual Reality , and Literal Anstice. I suppose I'll have to name my child something like Kaydinahairly." He smiled a bit, feeling more confident that she wouldn't try to kill him without a little notice first. "That sounds like something my sister would have done if her name hadn't have been Imaginary."
"I am an Unspeakable. I watch kids when I can, just because I can. RENT? I actually like that musical quite a bit." This time he did break a bit of a smile. " It must have been a lot of fun." He thought for a second before continuing on about his family. "My family....Is odd. I couldn't escape them if I wanted to. For some reason, I have the feeling they would track me past death's doors to tell me that I had better be at a sporting event or something of that sort for one of Imaginary's kids. I can't say I wouldn't do the same....Maybe not to that extreme, though..... Thats my real family.....And then I have all my tack on family.....Like Alex and Isabella Longbottom. Its kind of nutty, but extremely comforting to have that many people who care about you...." He flushed a TINY bit, noting how badly he had just rambled on. Wow. He really had to watch what he talked about..........

"The Longbottoms?" She shivered a bit. "My colleague was a Longbottom . Azreal. If you knew her, I hope you accept my sympathies for your loss. Poor girl." She sipped a bit of tea that a waiter had just put down. "Yeah. It was an interesting gig. I worked it for three years." She flinched the tiniest bit when he said 'even if I died'. Well, she had kept to her family even after her death. . . Well, she kept to her brother.

Had she just said something about Az? He looked a bit bewildered, considering Az was perfectly fine, to his knowledge. Alex had mentioned her just the other day... "Yes, the Longbottom's. Could you explain to me what you meant by 'I hope you accept my sympathies for your loss.' Az is alive, to my knowledge.....I just talked to Alex earlier today and he didn't say anything about her dying.......And Alex would know, since they are siblings, after all....." He shook his head bit, attempting to clear a bit of the confusion clouding his brain. "I've been an Unspeakable since I got out of school. Its the only thing I wanted to do, except possibly dragon taming or teaching. But Alex is a teacher and Imaginary is the dragon tamer.....I figured Unspeakable would work just fine for me.."

Daisy's eyes widened. "Well, ummm, I'm sorry. It's just, she hasn't been coming in for her workshops. You see, I work part-time at this place called Grim. It's a special clinic for types like Azreal. But she hasn't shown up for her meetings lately and Diane said that she had been murdered. I just. . Well, it must've been just gossip, then. I'm so sorry." She felt embarressed now. "And I think it's good that you were able to find your niche. I'm jumping around a lot, but that's always been me. I dropped out of school early so I could get a job in America. It would be nice to just get one job, stick with it, and stay in one place." She leaned back in her chair thoughtfully before giving a devilish grin. "But that just wouldn't be as fun, would it?" For someone preaching about freedom and job jumping, she didn't realise how tied down she really was. Not just in her need to be loyal, but in her job position. She may've appeared to be a free bird, but she might as well've been a housemaid living in Morocco. She took another sip of wine and another of tea. "You know, tea and wine taste really great together," she commented. She was not drunk. It was sort-of hard to get Daisy Adair drunk without giving her eight shots of pure rubbing alcohol.

He just nodded, not continuing about the Azreal thing. He didn't feel the need to embarrass her anymore than he already had, even if it was accidental. "I suppose it might be a lot more fun to jump jobs. But my job is exciting enough that it isn't terrible. It satisfies me." He smiled and took a sip of the flavored water. Random eyed her carefully. She was acting a little goofy.....Drunk already? No....It didn't seem like it......He nodded a bit and just drank more of his water. He was NOT about to drink tea and wine together. Bleck. Wine was disgusting enough on its own, and he didn't drink tea without a ton of lemon.......

"It is rather nice, though, to have security. I remember having that sort of thing only once, when my entire life was beginning, so to speak. but I must be boring you. I've been prone to ramble, according to my brother. Do you have any siblings of your own? I think I mentioned my brother, C and my half-sister." She got a thoughtful look on her face.

He nodded a bit, listening intently. "I suppose security is a good thing.......But I have only had one life....So....yeah.....You know....." He paused for a moment, thinking back in their conversation. Had she mentioned any family? No......She hadn't.... "I don't beleive that you did mention any family. I only have one real sibling.....Imaginary.....And then I have Alex, who is basically my adopted brother....And Isabella...She is practically my sister..."
