Girls make boys cry. Ah, what a lovely day it had turned out to be. The sun had decided to peek out from behind the clouds and pour sun light all over England. The temperature wasn't cold or hot. Just right. How had Julia managed the day to be totally perfect? She wasn't too sure, either. But it was quite lovely. She would be sure not to waste a moment of the beautiful sun inside. Sitting on a small wooden bench with her legs stretched out, Julia working on a tan, although she knew her skin would probably not cooperate. With big white rimmed sunglasses on and a vanity magazine in hand, Julia knew that the day could only get much, much better than it already was...

"Hey," came a voice from behind her. Colby Malfoy. His hair shined bright in the bright snshine, his grey eyes rested on the figure that was Julia. He looked tired, like he had aged twenty years in a night. There was a new accuired burn on his arm the stung even though he had gotten it healed. He had purple bruises under his eyes from lack off sleep and he flopped on the bench next to Julia. "You at least have a good night?" he asked with a tinge of bitterness to his tone as he squinted in the sunlight.

"Hey yourself," Julia said with a smile, taking off her sunglasses to look at him clearly. He didn't look his very best, but still lovely in Julia's dark brown eyes. What caused her to think this? Julia wasn't too sure. Probably that damned L word the two had talked about a few nights ago.
"It was alright," she said in response to his question about her slumber. Julia closed her magazine and smiled up at him.

"Lucky you," he said with a wince as he moved his arm and brushed the fallen hair out of his grey eyes. There was a small burn on the palm of his. One person could do this and stay happy with her self. Maybe a insane maniac. Maybe a dragon. Maybe Colby's evil sister Elizabeth. The answer is obvious. His evil maniac of a sister..

"Uh, I guess," Julia said with a shrug, eyeing the burn on his hand. She was curious but felt that she already knew the answer to the story behind the red mark on his skin. She'd much rather not ask, so she just wasn't going to.
Looking into his eyes again, Julia felt her heart drop. You know, the way you get when you like a guy a whole lot. She experienced this feeling a lot, most of the time totally against her will. She was scared of commitment, so falling in love was a major problem, but it was probably one of the best problems Julia had ever had.
"Something wrong, other than the usual?" she asked quietly.

"What fighting with my sister and getting burned every single second..No nothing is wrong," he said with an eye roll, resting his head between his hands. "I went over there to get something...Ah forget it...You'll find out soon enough," he said with a small sigh, looking back up at her, his expression thoughtfull.

Julia looked over his face's features then looked into his eyes. "It seems like something's wrong," she told him softly, not sure if she should force it out of him or not. Julia was usually a calm person, but she knew how to a tough person when the time called for her to do so.
"Well, why can't you just tell me now?" she asked curiously. "If it's a secret, I promise I can keep it," she added, a smile dancing onto her lips.

"It's for the reason you are curious that I'm not telling you," he said with a smirk, rising to his feet. "Meet me at my house for dinner tonight..I'll even order Chinese food..."

"That's not fair," Julia said with a sigh. She stood up with him, giving him a quick hug before looking up and smiling. "But I guess you can bet I'll be there." Sure, Chinese wasn't the best food ever, but Colby was certainly the best guy ever, and that was the whole reason she'd agreed to meeting him at his home that night.

The Malfoy Mansion. Colby Malfoy was in the den of his inherited house, a large book on his lap. But he wasn't reading, but he had his eyes closed and two fingures on his temples. His burns weren't as noticeble now; as they weren't dragon burns, they weren't entirly perminate, even with magic. The only mark left from the burns would be the memorires. He had gone to his sister for one reason and one reason only. To get something he needed for tonight. Something of their mothers. Thus resulting in all the burns. After all the siblings hated each other and have, on many occasions, attempted to kill on another. As he opened his eyes the smell of Chinese food became noticeable from the kitchen. Julia would be here soon.

Lovely. The smell of Chinese food could be smelled even on the other side of the front door of the Malfoy mansion. Julia wasn't going to complain, though. Wearing a knee length black dress, Julia's seemed ready for whatever Colby wanted to show her. She was ready to find out, too. Her hand on the door knob, Julia was ready to walk in. Not even knock. What a bad girl. Her smile grew wider as she turned the door knob. After closing the door and finding Colby in the den, Julia felt as though her lips and cheeks would fall off from smiling so widely. "Honey! I'm home," she said to him as a greeting. She walked up to him, her smile fading slowly. Not because she was unhappy, but because her cheeks were starting to hurt really bad.
