"You're just saying that!" came a calm voice brightly in the corridors.
Two students were standing in the corridor, one with Ravenclaw robes on. She was a short blonde girl with curly, untamable hair. She was glaring up at another girl a head taller than her. The other girl looked apologetic, but a hopeful smile formed on her lips.
"What is wrong with you?" And with that she stalked off.
Shrugging, one Susan Davis turned and began walking down the marble stairs. Her dark brown hair and her bright blue eyes really brought out her pale skin. Susan had just been in an argument with one of her roommates and was running the argument over again in her head as she walked. It's not like she MEANT to trip and spill ink on her book. And this ink happened to be from a joke shop. Thus it didn't come off of the pages...Hey, she apologized many times, but she didn't listen. Like always, she looked on the bright side and thought optimistically that she couldn't stay mad forever. After all, she was ordering her a new book, with her own money. That should cheer her up!
She smiled to herself as she walked out onto the lawns, the warm air hitting her as soon as she walked outside. It felt nice and she was suddenly glad she had taken the time to change from her robes into jeans and a t-shirt. She walked down to the lake a leather-bound book clutched in her arms. She settled under a tree, resting her back against the trunk. The sun felt wonderful, but she was happy to be under the shade of the giant tree.
