The rainy weather is what ushered a man into the Hog's Head. He shook the water droplets off his sketch pad, glanced around the dark little pub, and walked over to a cushy armchair near the fireplace and sat down. He turned his pad to a fresh sheet of paper, the white creaminess smooth and waiting.
The man pulled a charcoal pencil from behind his ear, and started to sketch a woman sitting at the bar. With her many necklaces and bangles, heavy makeup and old, tattered, lacy clothes, she was a perfect subject.
Airen Chance glanced his blue eyes down to the paper, glad at how the picture was turning out. He always preferred to use Muggle tools for his art, rather then just using magic. He felt that actually putting time and work into the drawing gave it more... something.

"Ugh! Stupid rain!" Keela Weasley rushed into the Hog's Head bar quickly, fleeing from the water that was going to ruin her broomstick, shich she literally had to HUNT down. It was a classic she had purchased for her collection, and she wasn't about to let a bit of rain ruin it now. Especially seeing the outrageous price she had paid for it.....
She swung her bright auburn hair from her face, making her pale features visible at last. Apparently the rain had missed her makeup, or perhaps she, like most witches, wore everything proof makeup. It would make sense, after all. Her eyes were outlined in dark green, her hair straight, her lips a very pale pink, and the rest pale. The green that outlined her eyes almost matched her dark emerald eyes. A green ribbon sepearted her bangs from the rest of her straight locks.
She sighed and pushed down her slightly water spattered green kimono dress before leaning down to rearrange the dark blue jeans over her black flats. The tiny skulls on the bows of her flats were turned in different directions due to all the chaos of protecting the broom. She sighed and quickly bought a butterbeer, even though she didn't really like them too much, trying to find a seat away from the shifty characters. She noticed Airen and sorta rushed to him. Why? A] He was HOTT. B] He didn't look like he was evil or...yeah....
"Umm....Hi....DO you mind if I sit over here by you?" She threw on a nervous, but still charming smile, her pale fingers scratching at her left wrist, which held her black messenger purse and the broom, as well as her butterbeer.

Airen looked up at the girl. With her bright green eyes, auburn hair and yet pale features, she was very pretty. Airen gestured to the chair across from his, flashing a bright smile while saying, "I don't mind at all."
Airen looked back to his drawing, deciding on final touch-ups. He added a few strokes here, a little shading there, and he was done. He was quite happy with what he had drawn. He signed and dated the work, said, "Excuse me a moment, if you please," to the girl, and walked over to the lady at the bar.
"Hello, ma'am," he said in a slightly gravelly voice. "I drew this picture here of you. Please, I would like you to keep it." The lady smiled up at him with watery brown eyes. "Thank you young man," she replied to him. He gave her a smile and a nod before returning back to his seat.
After he had sat, he held out his callused and slightly rough hand to the girl. "I'm Airen, and you are?" His blue eyes scanned the things she was carrying. Quite an impressive broom, he thought to himself. The girl looked no older then twenty five, but no younger then twenty. Airen was quite curious, but waited until the girl introduced herself.

Keela nodded, watching as he walked away, trying not to look too closely. But heck, she was human. She jerked her head back around as the woman thanked him for the art, knwing he would be returning and didn't need to see her staring at him....
When he finally returned, she smiled at him. "That was really sweet of you. Most artists keep their work. " She smiled at him sweetly before rearranging herself in the chair to become more comfortable. "I'm Keela Weasley. Pleasure to meet you, Airen." She saw him eyeing her broom, which caused her to smile. "I'm a quidditch player. I also collect brooms. This is the newest to my collection." She smiled again, pushing a bit of her auburn hair from her face.

Airen grinned. "When I draw other people, I like to give them the picture. I dunno why... just do." As he said this, he had opened to a new page and started sketching Keela. He couldn't help but to smile as he drew her face, which he thought looked very young yet experienced. . . he noticed the curve of her neck, the way her full pink lips had a small curve to them even when she wasn't smiling, how her emerald eyes sparkled.
"Quidditch, eh?" Airen asked, intruiged. "What position? I played Keeper back at--" Airen paused. How did he even know she was a witch? Oh right, the fact that she has a broom and is in the Hog's Head. Duh. "--Hogwarts. Six years. Once invited to Puddlemere United, but I turned that down." He gave a small, sad chuckle.

"That really is sweet. I can't say that I would nesacarilly give my artwork away if I had any artistic talent in the drawing department, really. But, you never know...I might." She gave him another smile, hoping her movement wouldn't affect his drawing too much. She couldn't hold still for anything. She moved way too much for that. Most people found her kind of distracting to be around.
"I'm a chaser. And, oh the irony, I recently transferred to Puddlemere United. That would be why I am back in Britain after all these years. You can't be too much younger or older than me....We might have gone to Hogwarts together, you know. I'm twenty-two. How old are you, if you don't mind my asking?" She noted his pause before saying Hogwarts, but decided to let him get away with it. People made little mistakes like that all the time. She shifted a little more in her seat. This seat was little big for her, after all. She was a tiny person, skinny and decently short. It was not a new thing for a chair to be too large for her. Hogwart's cushiony chairs used to almost swallow her whole.

"Twenty one. What house were you in back at Hogwarts? We might've played each other." Airen couldn't help but to toss a flirtatious grin in her direction. Small little Keela sitting in a chair clearly to big for her, she was cute. He had to admit it.
"Yeah, Puddlemere's a great team, but I just couldn't..." he trailed off, not wanting to remember. "That's funny though, we could've been on the same team! What team were you on before?" One thing Airen always loved about the Wizarding world is that they always came together and had something to talk about when it came to Quidditch.

"I was in Hufflepuff when I spent my time in Hogwarts. What house were you in?" She returned his smile ten fold and probably even batted her lashes a bit. It was a bit of a habit to bat her lashes. She never felt it until her lashes started to beat at her cheeks, which she felt and immediantly made herself stop.
He paused and Keela's heart stopped for a moment. Words like those never meant a good thing. "If you want to share, you can. Sometimes, the best thing to do is tell someone you barely know your problems. I am a pretty good listener, if you want to talk." She said, her voice full of warmth and honesty. She was a person who didn't like people hurting around her. Yes, she was the kind of person who cried if someone else cried. She had always been that way. "I played on a little team that never makes it anywhere. It was pro, but as low as you get. I was too meek at the time to go anywhere bigger. They weren't that bad when I joined either. But their best players decided to move up and left the people who COULDN'T get better teams or were just too scared to, a bit like me." She lowered her lashes, a bit ashamed.

"I was in Ravenclaw." Airen said to her House question. Glancing again at her, he saw a smile play across her lips, and he couldn't help but to smile too. Something about her. . . woke him up, to say. Adding a few finishing touches onto the picture, he signed it, dated it, added a small message in his boyish cursive and tore it out.
"For you," Airen said, slightly embarressed as he felt his face get hot. He hoped she would not be creeped out by his little message, Don't forget the day we met, ok?, as he handed her the photo.
Sitting back in his chair, he let out a sigh and ran his hand through his dark brown locks. "Well, it's sort of a long and sad story..." He looked up at her, and added, "I mean, if you don't mind sitting around and listening, in case you, ya know, had somewhere to be..."

Keela took the sketch slowly, eyeing him extremely cautiously. It was just the way she was. He was just too nice. Was there no catch anywhere? Bad breath? Rough language? Did she mind that he was this way? Not at all. That was all the more reason to be careful. No guy was this nice, were they? She felt the heavy texture of the paper between her fingers before she pryed her eyes away from his own to look at the drawing.
It was there. Everything. Lines, shapes, pencil dust. All of it had transformed into everything. Curves of her cheeks, her lashes. Emotions she didn't even know she had displayed, but had, were sitting there right in front of her on a peice of paper. She didn't deny they had been there. She could have been looking in the mirror as she looked at the paper. No denying it at all. Crap. There was even her useless flirting face she had tried to hide. Well, maybe he didnt know what it was supposed to be...
She ran her fingers over the paper, still hypnotised by the perfect strokes and...all of it. Every detail of it. The reason she appreciated it so much? A. Shy girls don't usually get the attention... B. She had never been much of an artist herself. But this amazed her. Then she caught the note at the bottom of the page. It was sweet. And sensitive. And he was blushing, which was even more adorable than she could have possibly imagined. Instinct took over from here.
Keela pulled herself out of the too large chair and walked over to him as fast as she could, trying not to draw attention. She smiled and pushed her hair away from her eyes before attempting to reach his head without all but straddling him. As soon as she got in front of his face, she smiled and dropped her already quiet voice to a slight whisper. "I have the art to remember you by, if you decide to ignore me, but what will you have to remember me?" Without waiting for answer, or response, she pressed her lips against his as actually KISSED him. Passionately, sweet, and full of instinct, seeing as it was her first REAL kiss, unless you include accidently bumping into someone's lips trying to get a book. And for her, it felt...nice. She removed herself quickly, now blushing immensely. "If it matters at all to you, that was my first kiss." She blushed a little brighter and sunk it the corner of her chair.
"Now, about your life story..."
(XD. Was it worth the wait, Keisha?)

A little taken aback but extremely impressed by her kiss, Airen gazed his deep blue eyes at Keela. There was definitely something about this girl that intrigued him, made him want to get to know her more. He watched as her cheeks flushed a shade of pink. And yet, all he could say was, "Well, for a first kiss, that was very good." But then, realizing how stupid it must sound, felt a bit bad. He understood how much a first kiss often meant to girls, thus him feeling bad about how he had remarked to it. So he attempted to change it with, "Well, I mean... I couldn't tell that it was your first, is what I mean..." Still feeling awkward, he felt his face grow hot and flushed. Seriously, was he an idiot?! Scratching his left ear, a habit for when he was uncomfortable, Airen looked at the floor, his shoes, her shoes, her broom, anything but her face. What would she think about him now? Just some guy she decided to use a first kiss on but ended up not caring? He didn't want her to think that at all. BUT WAIT. Why was he thinking all these thoughts? It felt like back at Hogwarts, whenever he got around girls. Always self conscious about what to say or how to act. And of course, thinking all this made him feel even worse about everything. But then he found a way to forget about it all. "My life story?" He let out a small, tentative laugh. "Well, I could tell you bits about me, but I don't have a life story yet. Maybe you should ask me again when I'm old and shaky." Again, he let out a laugh. "Anyways, when I was little my parents and I lived in this cottage a bit far from my grandparents. One night... " Airen took a deep breath. He never had really liked talking about the night, but he went on. "One night, my parents and I were driving there. I was about four I think... Anyways, we got into this car accident and ah... they didn't live." Airen took another breath, placing his forearms on his thighs and leaning on them. "Since then until I was eleven, I lived with my grandparents. They were -- are-- my dad's parents... until I got that letter from Hogwarts. So I went there and grew up there and lived like a normal teenage boy, you know. Parties, girls, tests and Quidditch.. until the summer after my last year. It was right after Puddlemere had asked me to join the team, they were scouting at the games all that year see... but I couldn't accept." Airen paused, collecting himself and letting out a slow breath again. "That summer, right before I was going to tell them that I would play for them, my dad's other son showed up at our house one night. This son was from a previous marriage, but this night was the first and last time I met him. He came... storming into my grandparent's house, accusing them of something stupid I don't quite remember..." Airen stopped yet again to wipe at his watering eyes. "And uh... that night... he killed my, or I should say our grandfather." (DUN DUN DUNNN. was THAT worth the wait? )
