Hey Everyone, yes I know, more Rules, but Rules are what keep the site going and so they are a necessary part of any site.
First: We want Thanks For The Memories to be an active and productive Role-Playing site and to have that we must have active members. If you make an account here, you must be active unless you let the admins know why you cannot. We do not want the site to interfere with school or any other real world activities, but when you sign-up we expect you to be interested in the site and interested in being an active role in the site. There will be warning levels if you become inactive without a warning to the admins, ranging from warning Personal Messages and E-mails to deletion of account.
Second We want our member count to be accurate so we are requesting that you keep your number of accounts to one. You may play any amount of characters that you wish on one account, as long as you can keep up with them all. If any of the admins feel that your Role-Playing is suffering because you have decided to take on too many characters, you will be notified and asked to either step-up or delete one of your characters in some way.
Third Because we want the site to stay active and keep everyone talking, we ask that your characters not date nor be married to each other. If one of your characters use to be married but for some reason their spouse died or left you may make-up that character. In addition, for plot purposes, your characters may have previously dated and decided that it did not work out, but in present Role-Playing, we ask that there be no relationships aside from friendships and/or related in family wise.
Fourth We do not accept you according to the bio of your character. Why, you ask? It could be inaccurate, having been done by some one other than yourself, having spent more time than normal perfecting it, and/or you could be the kind of person who tends to slack a little bit when it comes to apps. Instead, an admin will watch your actual roleplaying. If you don't meet standards, you will be informed.
Fifth To be any magical creature beyond the normal witch, wizard or muggles you must get permission from an Admin and also read the rules from the Creatures page, located under the Rules topic. We do not wish to have an entire site full of More-Than-Necessary Magical Folks.
Sixth We ask that all plots be submitted to the admins for deliberation before proceeding with them. This not only includes plots that would effect the entire site, but also if you wish for your character to find out that they are pregnant, they are going to die, or anything that would cause drama to the site we ask for the admins to be notified. This is simply because we do not wish for 15 women to become pregnant at the same time or have half the site find out that something dramatic is going on in their lives.
Seventh Because of the different plot when regarding this site, we ask that none of the children being portrayed be Hogwarts ages, 11-18, for the simply fact that they cannot attend classes. The only exception to this rule would be if the child is a squib, muggle or special case where they could not attend Hogwarts. If any of these are the case, we ask that permission be asked from any of the three admins before hand.
