Hey everyone, these are the rules concerning Role-Play style, and while I know that we all do not like rules, they are a needed so let us move forward.
First: This site is a third person based Role-Play style. There are some sites that allow you to say “I walked down the stairs and bumped into Ryan” and we do not allow that, sorry. We ask for “Kat walked down the stairs and bumped into Ryan”, a.k.a. third person.
Second: No perfect characters. Some witches, wizards and other creatures will be more powerful then others but everyone does have flaws. Even veela’s who have gorgeous looks tend to have flaws and in actuality, no one is perfect.
Third: Please do not try to control other people’s characters. Bumping into someone or throwing a snowball or something like that is fine, but do not try to say how their character would react. No one likes it and will earn you a few grumbles from other members.
Fourth: Admins make the rules for a reason and we do not want them broken.
First Offence If rules are broken you will receive a notice Personal Message from one of the admins, informing what rule you broke and asking you not to break it again.
Second Offence If rules are broken again you will receive another Personal Message and your account will be suspended for one day.
Third Offence If rules are broken further then you will receive another Personal Message and your account will be suspended for two weeks.
Fourth Offence If rules have continued to be broken after repetitive warnings, you will receive a Personal Message telling you that you will have exactly 24 hours to save any graphics or anything that you might want to save before your account is permanently banned.
Fifth We have made this site literate, which means that we expect you to spell check anything you post and also keep your Role-Playing posts to a minimum of four sentences. More is always encouraged though, but we do understand if you have having a writer’s block kind of day. Also, try to always give whomever you are Role-Playing with something to work with. If your character is simply sitting there tapping their nails, it leaves the other Role-Player in a rut and is unfair to them.
Sixth Please note the LITERATE. This means in the c-box as well.
