When she was younger, Julia had signed a pledge. A pledge that said that she would never drink. Of course, that had been in grade school. She had broken that pledge before she was ffteen, sneaking into her grandfather's stash of Muggle beer. It had been love at first taste. Julia didn't drink often, though, only when she could, and she never drank too much. Today was the perfect day to drink... "What would you like?" the man behind the bar asked when Julia at down. "Anything with more alcohol than a butterbeer," she answered quietly. The man looked suprised, but went off to find whatever he could...This could be a while and Julia knew it. She obviously looked underage, but, oh, well. She knew she wasn't, and that idiot would have to put up with it...He had obviously seen her wedding ring, making it slightly obvious she was above the age of seventeen.

"SHUT UP!" a voice roared out side the pub, causing the girls headach to worsen. "JUST GET OVER YOUR BLOODY SELF, WOMAN!"she roared again after an angry response from another woman, who looked a little older and had a child about the age of six by her side. The door to the pub banged open and in came Abby Weasley, yanking her scarf off her neck in frustration. As she muttered under her breath angrily, she made her way to the bar, glaring at the bar man. He rememeberd her from her school days, gave her a fearful look and rushed to get a firewhiskey along with Julia's drink. "Bloody Kindergarten mothers," Abby muttered, shoving her scarf into her her pocket before taking her silvery blonde hair from out of her hood, letting it fall down her back. The one thing she hated was people telling her how to do what she had studied (teaching for example) and it took all her will power not to hurt the mother she was just chatting with.

"The hell?" Julia looked up from her chipped black nail polish. Some girl was fighting with a kid's mother. She was obviously a teacher. She was way too stressed out to be anything else. "Hard day?" she asked without thinking when the girl had set down. She looked down at her chipped nail polish again, not knowing where else to look, secretly being scared to look the teacher in the eye...Not that is was obvious already. Wasn't everyone in the bar already scared of her, making such a big scene when she had entered. Julia looked around. Everyone was quiet, but only a few dared to look this way. She sensed most were too scared to. So she wasn't alone. Good.

ooc: LMAO people scared of Abby. Ish LOVES that! Now Abby will let that go to her head ^^
bic: Abby turned her head to the voice that had spoken to her, not even noticing the silence for a few moments. When she did, she looked around the bar, and the few that were looking at her quickly looked away. A wide smirk appeared on her lips. So they were affraid of her, were they. Her mood lightened a bit as she turned to Julia, who was also avoiding her gaze. She should make more entrances like this more often..."Is it that obvious?" Abby replied to her sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

"Only slightly," Julia replied, looking up. Of course she didn't look into her eyes, but the chipped nail polish was getting on her nerves, along with lots of other things. She shrugged, looking down into her drink. Alcohol, just what she needed, but something she didn't want anymore. She took a sip, and decided she did want its sharp taste to overwhelm her taste buds with every sip she had. This was Muggle wine, that was for sure. Something that Julia loved more than beer or any wizarding drink ever.
||I love, love, love wine. =D||

ooc: I don't...Champaign is a little better...lol My dad was slightly drunk at a wedding and made me taste beer and champaign and stuff like that ^^
bic: Abby rolled her eyes, taking a long sip of her firewhiskey. She would need a whole bottle if she would be dealing with parents like the one she was arguing with. Abby forgot about Julia for a moment as she drank and was soon finished with her glass and the bartender quickly refilled it. "Abby..." he said cautiously, not knowing how she would react. When she was in school lets just say he got a taste of her temper and that there is a large burn on his back to prove it. "Shut up and fill the glass," she snapped before turning to Julia and making a face. "Is that good?"

"Why do you care?" Julia asked quietly, as if she had just been offended. "I didn't do a damn thing to you, and here you are being a damned bitch like I threatened to kill you." Her voice was getting stronger with every word she spoke, but she knew it wouldn't last long. Julia was a coward when it came to standing up to people. She was a lot different than she was in Hogwarts, and she had learned a variety of curse words while listening to her grandfather lose a poker game one night when she was seventeen. Now she could easily make a sailor blush. "How about you just get the hell out of my business, and I'll leave you the hell alone. Believe me, I wouldn't mind."

Abby gave her a stone cold glare, one she used when she felt like she wanted to kill somebody. "Now you listen here. I wasn't saying a danm thing about your life. I was asking about the bloody wine. And if you call me a bitch again I promise you I won't be this nice again. Most who call me that have injuries, take that stupid bartender for example. Plus, don't forget. Next year, I'm teaching your son," she pointed out with a wide smirk, talking quietly, but venomisly.

Julia bit down on her ring finger's knuckle and she tasted blood on her tongue. She wiped the blood off onto her black jeans. Oh, crap. That lady was going to teach her son next year? Maybe the world would end by then, and she wouldn't have to worry about Abby teaching Cole. Not very likely. Maybe they could move. She'd have to ask Colby, but he would most likely refuse to. She sighed. "Well, hello, Ms. Weasley," she said defeated. "Great to see my son's future teacher."

Abby already knew the victory was hers, but her glare did not soften. "Next time watch who you're talking to. I have to deal with eoungh crap, like that bloody woman I was having a chat with outside. Her son thought it was funny to ball a peice of paper and have the paper throw itself at me in front of muggles. I punished him and now I deal with enough crap, trying to tell the muggles it was all a bloody trick," she finished, taking another long sip of fiewhiskey.

"I'll try to remeber that," Julia said quietly. Her courage must be going away. She still wasn't happy, but all she'd have to do is finsh this one shot and she could leave. She didn't want to rush herself, though. She was weird, and if she drank too fast, she'd be totally hung over the next morning. She sighed, taking another sip, thinking of ways to ask Colby if they could move to Texas.

Abby's glare disappeared as she looked at Julia's drink. "Now lets try this again. Is that wine good?" she asked calmly, as if nothing had happened at all.

"Yes," Julia replied. "One of my favourite Muggle wines," she added, as if that gave it more history. "I like it better than firewhiskey, actually." A lot better. And that beer that Muggle rednecks drank, too. Wine is the best choice. Period.

Abby made another face. "Does it taste like that muggle beer? That stuff is okay, not my favorite though," she noted.

"Some do," Julia said, shrugging. "The ones with lower quality, pretty much. Like, the cheap kind," she explained, beginning to wonder if Abby knew anything about Muggle alcohol in the first place? Probably not, "the cheap kind is pretty nasty, though. Only the...kind of...high priced wine is good. The cheaper ones taste...just kind of gross." But, what did Julia know? She had always been a high maintenance woman...

ooc: lol now ish going to get that song stuck in my head
bic: Abby raised her eyebrows. "Cheep wine? Er okay....I won't try that then," she said with a shrug, making it a little to obvious she knew nothing about muggle wine, or acohol, though Julia might have already figured that out.

||Mission accomplished. =P||
"Don't," Julia warned. Of course Abby didn't know anything about Muggles...She only did because her grandparents had been simply fascinated with them. She had always wondered why, but had never found out. She had never really paid attention to Muggles, anyway. The only good thing about them was their alcohol...

Julia nodded. "They sure are." She looked at her black wristwatch. It had quit working ages ago, but she wanted to get out of here...Soon. "I...have to go," she told Abby. She stood up and left.
||I want to make a board with Colby. Julia needs to tell them they need to move. xD||
