Random Lupin looked around the shelves of birds boredly in Eeylops. He wasn't exactly pleased. An owl he had bought only days ago had died on him. Poor little Soot. He was just growing attached to the little grey owl, too.
He sighed and looked at a small black owl over in the corner that was hooting like a nutcase. Right beside it was a HUGE speckled owl that kinda creeped him out. And right beside THAT owl was another teensy owl, though this one was brown and almost as small as a mouse. Random shook his head absently and began to look again. Lord help him if he didn't find the proper owl sooner or later....

"'Owls are so overrated,'" Isabella mocked Jasmine's preppy little snob voice as she opened the door to the owl emporium. "'Muggle items are much more popular than something your great-grandma would use.' Fruck you, Jasmine," she sighed, already looking at owls, "'ll buy an owl if I damn well please..." Surely Isabella could find some reason to get a restraining order against her "sister."

Random tried his best not to chuckle. Jasmine and Isabella hated each other. And it was a bit too obvious. If it wasn't solved, they might break out in a cat fight in front of everyone. And as entertaining as that might sound to some few, he was not one of those few. He would have to break it up, after all. "You really shouldn't bad mouth Jasmine, Isabella." Random stepped away from his hiding place like spot to infront of Isabella. He smiled slightly before looking at an owl that tried to nip him through the bars. "bloody owl." he murmured, moving a little to the other side.

Isabella smiled, pushing her blonde hair out of her eyes, and looked up. Random's voice was one she could make out of on hundred people if she had to. "Hello, Random. You weren't supposed to hear about my...conversation...with Jasmine. It seems like she's been stalking me. It's gotten so annoying," she explained, sighing. "I don't want to see her everyday."

"I'm sure I wasn't." He smiled again, this time sincerely. Isabella was easily one of his best friends. " I also highly doubt that Jasmine is stalking you. I still don't understand why you hate each other so much. It seems kind of silly to me. She thinks you don't deserve Alex. What is your excuse?" He ruffled his hair a bit, but it fell right back down. "I understand you not wanting to see her everyday....But I didn't think Jasmine and Alex were close enough for that?"

"So I'm paranoid," she sighed, crossing her arms over her chest. "And I don't see her everyday, but too damn much for my liking. And they aren't close...from what I can tell. But Jasmine...I dunno. She's in her own world. It's not like I mean to hate her, I just to," she sighed. "Why do I have to be so goddamn bitchy in the first place?"

Random shook his head slightly, adding a small sigh. "You are both crazy. But maybe I'm the crazy one who just doesn't see the logic in it. Maybe Jasmine will stop coming around when she figures out she can't break you two up, or that you aren't going to leave Alex. But still, I beleive you'll eventually get along. If not, I'll stick around to break up the catfights during the holiday get togethers." He gave a small smile at his badly made joke.

"Well, I know I shouldn't care what she thinks, but I can't help it, you know?" she said. Of course Isabella hadn't thought of things that way before then, but now that she had, it actually made sense... She looked up at him and smiled. "I'm glad to hear that. She has the rep for killing."

"Of course I know. I'm a pretty self conscious person, beleive it or not. You should know this from Hogwarts. I have stayed the same, I would say." He looked away towards a small brown owl perched in a tiny cage. It hooted an upbeat heat and looked around. "You don't think she'd be able to kill me, do you?" he was obviously playing, though you had to listen hard to hear it, as well as his voice.
