Kathleen sighed and thought back to her conversation with Clear as she knew that Clear was lying to her, “Actually, you stated that you normal customers do not normally appear hand-in-hand with gorgeous supposidly dead blondes. And then you later stated that Daisy Adair Browning came in with Alexander and then, Daisy disappeared in a puff of dust. The sort that Death Eater's used to use. She was wearing a yellow sun dress and had a small scar on her cheek. A chemical burn of sorts.” Kathleen said quoting her and then looking at her, “I was in Ravenclaw for a reason dear, please don’t try and lie to me again, because it is my biggest pet-peeve.” She said calmly before looking at Alex, “Is our daughter alive also?” She asked calmly, though inside everything was on super-speed. How could this be happening? This morning she had gotten up and planned on working in her garden until her best friend showed up and then spending the day catching up with him. Now instead she was finding out that her suppose to be dead husband was in fact alive again and her suppose to be dead daughter was also alive. The reason she had not remembered the conversation perfectly earlier is because her mind was still on the whole Alex factor and not the Daisy factor.

"Not in the literal sense." Alex admitted. "Christ, Alex." Clear put a hand to her face and began to chew E.E.G. "'Not in the literal sense'? What happened to you while you were dead? Because Daisy was most obviously alive." "Not exactly." He replied, turning to Clear. "And if you had seen her puff away, you'd see that." "Death Eaters can do that too." Clear said, throwing out a definant jaw. "Did you just accuse my daughter of being in cahoots with DEs?" Alex spat. "Maybe I did. It would explain her disappearance!"

//Except for the fact that smoke isn't real and only happens in the movies as an added fact, when in reality they were simply apperating with pops....and the smoke only again happens in the movies...//
Kathleen was holding her head and rubbing her temples to try to stop the migraine that was slowly taking over her head. “What do you mean not in the literal sense? Is she dead or is she alive? Because I really doubt she was a ghost of she looked as human as Clear is saying. Alexander please explain what the bloody hell is going on.” She said looking at him as she stopped rubbing her temples. “And dead or alive Daisy would never be with the Death Eaters so lets stop this sibling like fight before it gets any father please.” Kathleen added.

"There you go again, telling me the rules. " Alex said, beng a bit snippy. "Would you like to call someone else to be angry at? Someone who's know Daisy's alive since the day after she 'died'?" He picked up the phone and began to speak into it. "Operator, get Christopher Browning." He said.

“Bloody hell, do you not listen or do you just have selective hearing?” Kathleen asked frustrated, “I simply asked if she was dead or alive and that she wasn’t a ghost. How is that stating the rules?” She asked glaring at him clearly pissed off.
Chris, at the moment, was trying to control one nine year old and two six year olds. See Gwen had invited Becca and John Potter over to play after they had run errands with their mother and while he normally didn’t mind having them over, they decided today would be the PERFECT day to see how soon Chris could have a melt down. All three of them were playing indoor quidditch, and while they had YET to break anything Chris knew, it was only a matter of time. He heard the phone ring and sighed, “I swear, I’m not taking ANY more kids into this house.” He muttered as he made his way to the phone. “Yes?” He snapped and bit and then gained his composer, “Sorry, Chris Browning speaking, how may I help you?” He asked in a kinder tone. He was wear a pair of jeans, brown trainers and an emerald green t-shirt. Gwen squealed as she ran to catch the quaffle, “Gwen! Not the table!” He yelled and closed his eyes so he did not see her crash into the side table and have the lamp almost tumble to the floor. “Sorry daddy!” She yelled and then threw the ball to Becca.

"Christopher? This is your father. Do you or do you not know that Daisy is alive." He had put the phone on speaker. Clear loved their obvious distress. She adored the blunt way Alex had said 'This is your father.' She loved the way he was younger, but older. She loved that the arguing may mean them not being married. She adored the thought of her in a wedding dress again. She hated the thought that she may even have to choose between her little Plant-o and her little golden haired sugar lunchable.

“Ha ha, funny sir. Uh, the only Daisy I know is my sister and the status of her death can be found in any paper.” Chris said with a small laugh. Who was this person? His father had been dead for years, and while Daisy was in fact alive as a reaper, who was he to tell this nut job that? “Now, I have a nine year old and two six year olds throwing balls around my house so if you have nothing left to say I really would like to go make sure they don’t break my father’s picture.” He said with a small laugh.
Kathleen stood there with her arms crossed and a triumphant look on her face, HA! She mouthed with a smirk.

"Christopher Browning! You get back on the phone right this instant and" He stopped. He put the phone down with a clink. "He does know. He was just" He looked for a word. " stunned. " He said, sounding a bit like Amanda Bynes. "Can't blame him. But he does know she's alive. In fact, about eight hundred thousand people know she's alive." He said, looking through his pockets for his wand. He had had to break into the family Safety Deposit box to get it back. He finally found it and brought it out. He poofed a poster from New York. It was from the recently shut-down musical 'Rent' and showed a bright blonde girl doing the 'Tango Maureen'. "Anyone who goes on Broadway knew, anyways." He said. "Hey! I saw that with Hymmnia last month! She loved Rent!" Clear said, jumping at the poster.

“I never hung up the phone…” He muttered putting it down. He decided he’d call his mom’s cell, as she should probably know about this person, in case he tried to contact her next. “Gweneth Daisy Browning, you drop that quaffle RIGHT now or I promise I will pull you out of your next play so fast your head will spin!” Chris yelled and Gwen dropped the quaffle quickly. The reason he had yelled is because she was right in front of his father’s old broomstick, and that breaking would be really bad. He then dialed his mother’s cell number and she picked up on the first ring, “Hi mom. I just got this call from this person pretending to be dad, but as we know, he’s dead. In addition, he asked if Daisy was alive and I told him that she’s been dead too. Which as I’ve told you isn’t true, she’s just a grim reaper.” He said with a laugh and Kathleen also laughed, “No that really was your father, he’s right in front of me, and no you never told me that.” She said with a small laugh and Chris froze, remembering he had told Daisy he wouldn’t tell their mother and froze, “Uh…uh…Gwen’s in trouble, bye!” He yelled and hung up the phone. Kathleen sighed and looked at the poster, “Ok, you know what…I just…I can’t handle this. I mean I find out in the span of an hour that my suppose to be dead husband is in fact not dead, my suppose to be dead daughter isn’t, and my son has been lying to me all these years. I mean…who goes through that?” She asked rhetorically.

"About eighty other people that Husband's have been brought back to life by Daisy in the past five days. She had a lot of favors to fill." Alex answered. He looked at the poster and smiled. "I wish I'd been alive to see that show. It looks interesting." He admitted.

“She’s brought back husbands and daughters and told their brothers to lie to their mothers that their daughters are alive? I really don’t think so.” Kathleen said simply. She could have said it rudely, and had she felt like herself she probably would have. But she was just…tired was the best way to describe it. She was physically drained and her mind was whirling and she was half-sure that she would wake up any minute now and this would all be just a strange dream. Actually, that is what she wished would happen, but knew that it never would. This was real, and now, this was just too much. She didn’t know how anybody could handle this or how Alex could simply figure that she could handle this so perfectly, or at least that was the way he was acting…she had promised to be with him “Till death do them part.” However, did it still count if he came back?

That's when Daisy Adair puffed back into the shoppe. "Sorry, I forgot my pur-" She grabbed a daisy covered purse on the counter and froze. "Not the right time, Honey." Clear smiled rather evily. "Daisy. What did we talk about on the way here?" Alex cleared his throat. Daisy ignored them both. And began to cry. She ran and jumped upon her mother. "Mommy!"

Kathleen just could not stay mad as she ignored both Alex and Clear and hugged her daughter back, “Daisy, my baby.” She whispered as she stroked her daughter’s blonde hair, the tears now freely falling. She pulled back slightly and took Daisy’s face in her hands, “Oh Daisy…I’ve missed you so much.” She whispered trying to wipe away the tears that were falling from Daisy’s eyes, while her own eyes were pouring out tears. She then hugged Daisy again, whispering incoherent mutterings but pure joy shined on her face.

Daisy felt like when she played Annie after getting that five-year-old surge. Only instead of five, she felt like she was four. Maybeeven three. And like she had gotten lost from her mommy in the store. She suddenly felt better. "Momma? I'm sort-of squished." She admitted.

Kathleen gave a small laugh and let Daisy go but held her at arms length looking her over. Kathleen had stopped crying now, and was thankful she had not worn any make-up though she was sure she looked like a right mess. “Daisy, oh Daisy.” She whispered looking at her, “You know…your brother took your death the hardest...and then his wife died and he said that…he said that he had felt empty after your death and it seemed as if nothing could fix him…there was nothing left.” She whispered talking more to herself, but loud enough for Daisy to hear, “And then, it turns out…that he knew you were alive…and while we all wondered why he got out of his depression so quickly…we didn’t question it…” She added to her whispering. “And now your here, alive, or at least somewhat from what I’ve gathered.” She added with a slight chuckle.

"Actually, the proper term is 'Undead Homosapien'. Zombie or anything else is offensive to the actual zombies. For example, Dad is officially classified a Zombie." Daisy smiled and stepped ack, but ony a tiny bit. She pulled her purse up and looked through it for make-up. She snapped her fingers, and it began to fly to put itself back on her face. Daisy put the mascara on herself, though. It seemed way too risky for magic to do the poking and proding near the eyes. "Daine (HEHE!) Adair. Do not call your father a Zombie!" Alex looked playfully hurt.

“Actually, according to your father and your brother you are a grim reaper, and you just simply gave a technical term for it.” Kathleen said giving a slight chuckle as she continued to look at her. “I just…everything…I’m so glad you are here.” She said with a smile. “And don’t listen to your father, you never really did anyways.” She said with another light chuckle.
Shawn was standing there watching the entire scene. He would have excused himself but there never seemed to be a proper time to speak and say “Hey, I’ll talk to you tomorrow or something…when you AREN’T finding out your suppose to be dead family members are in fact alive.”

Daisy felt a pang of jealousy at this new man who she did not know. Without even realising she was doing it, Daisy looked twords the man and smiled. This would've been something innocent had her eyes not disappeared beforehand. Daisy turned back to her mother and hugged her again. Clear held back a laugh as she watched Daisy. She just hoped that Kat saw that. Alex didn't even notice. He was chewing a piece of gum and whistling.

Kathleen had seen what Daisy did and looked at Shawn who was unfazed by the entire thing really. She pulled back a bit and smiled, “Daisy dear, this is my friend Shawn. When I moved to America in my second year, he was the only one who would talk to me at first. It’s his first time in England and I had planned on showing him around, until this happened.” She said and Shawn nodded giving Daisy a smile himself, his eyes still there. “Shawn Edwards.” He said introducing himself. “And Kathleen, I think I’m going to head out. I will talk to you tomorrow and we can go sightseeing some other time. I’ll be here for a few weeks.” He said with a chuckle and Kathleen nodded. “Thanks Shawn, I’ll call you later.” She said as he walked over and kissed her on the cheek, just like her brother John did when he visited. He waved goodbye to Daisy, Alex and Clear and then exited the shop.

Clear laughed "Honey, by the looks of that man, you couldn't have fased him unless you cut off your own head." She sounded more country than British for a moment. "Not saying you can't do that, Dais." Alex added in. "She can do that?" Clear actually looked surprised. "Duh." Daisy hated herself for using teenage slang. But, technically, she was only a teenager when she died. Alex couldn't help but twitch and squirm a bit after he left. Alexander was proud that he had not punched the guy when he kissed her. But, after all, where he had resided, most were already married. So kissing was a big thing. In fact, being single was very very rare.

“Not really…Shawn’s just been through a lot…I mean…compared to what I went through with Alex and Daisy, that’s nothing…” Kathleen said though she would not go into any detail. It had taken Shawn 15 years to open up to her about it and it was not her secret to tell. Kathleen noticed Alex squirm a bit and bit her bottom lip to keep from smiling and laughing, “Alex, you don’t have to worry. Shawn is just like John. A very protective brother.” She said the last part with a small giggle, “Actually…he’s more like Sam…as John was blast first, yell later, and Sam was yell first and then blast.” She added thinking about it.

Daisy crossed her arms and pouted "Still. Ten years of being dead and he can't even scream when my eyes smoke out? It''s insulting!" She stole a peice of gum and began to chew, it got stuck in her teeth somehow and she plucked it right out of her mouth and turned her hand into dust. She blew the pink dust (Because the gum had turned to dust as well) away and then reformed her hand together. "Well, Marvin." Clear sighed. "Aren't your children absolutly interesting?"

“Honey…seeing your eyes dust away really probably doesn’t affect him…he’s been through a lot worse...which is why he hasn’t visited here yet.” Kathleen said gently. She wasn’t freaked out when Daisy turned her hand to dust, but she had to admit it was a bit strange…but then again…the fact that Daisy and Alex were suppose to be dead but weren’t was still a bit weird to her. As for Clear’s comment, Kathleen kept a straight face and took a deep breath before answering, “Yes, they are, but I’m glad they are.” She said biting back the rest of the sentence that she had wanted to say. ‘My daughters and grim reaper and my son is a wonderful father, while none of your children have married. One is a playboy who shows up to his work drunk off his arse, the other is rumored to be a gay-planto-pedophile and your daughter isn’t even magical and sits around trains all day singing songs…yeah…my children are interesting, while yours are just messed up. But, she held that in and didn’t let any of it reflect on her face, instead smiling at Clear and turning back to Daisy.

"I don't care. It just isn't natural for Death's Messenger not to be scary." Daisy mused. 'Gods, I'm glad Robb, or Jason, or Amanda, or Susan, or Millie, or, God Forbid, Robb are not here.' She thought, yet kept smiling at Clear and her mother. "Well, every family has a few weirdo's in the bunch, don't they? Well, in your case it's one very beautiful one." Clear smiled sweetly and looked over at Daisy as she popped a peice of gum. She was just thinking on how she dared Kathleen Marvin to comment on her daughter. Her son? She knew he was a failure. Adam was a very nice boy, but Andrew was close to being dis-owned. It wasn't exactly fair to comment on her being a Squib. Not as if she chose it. But, as she chewed the invention that made her a household name around Hogwarts, she considered the responses but came up short. She had to admit that, while not having the best of Hair days (Years?), Christopher was doing well. She could crack a Daisy joke? Naw, Clear was rude but not to that extent. She could say how Alex came to her first? That would sting as she said it, and Alex would hate her for it if Kat left. But it may be worth the look of Kat's face as she stomped out.

Kathleen took a deep breath trying to control her infamous temper, “Yes, a small bunch…though in your family case it would be the entire family wouldn’t it? I mean, correct me if I’m wrong of course, but you husband has a few problems of his own with his previous love dying and then girls like you forcing yourselves upon him? Then your son…well many rumors have gone around about him, but he’s the only sane one in your family isn’t he? I mean your son Andrew is a bloody hell up, who shows up to work drunk on a daily basis, and shags any female that is willing and ready. Then your daughter…while it’s not her fault she’s a squib I bet I can guess what side of the family it’s from. I don’t give a bloody hell, nor have I ever cared about the past you and Alex have shared,” Kathleen said, knowing that Clear hadn’t said anything about her feelings for Alex, but it was obvious to Kathleen, “Nor do I even care that you love him, more then you love your husband. But if you EVER insult either of my children again, I’ll break your bloody nose. My son and my daughter are more accomplished then you or anyone in your family will ever be.” She said, her face strong, and her eyes full of malice.
